The Museums Association featured it in one of their Museums Journal news articles (<a href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.museumsassociation.org%2Fmuseums-journal%2Fnews%2F2025%2F02%2Femotional-demands-of-some-types-of-museum-work-are-growing-in-intensity%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cjennie.morgan%40stir.ac.uk%7C4313e5d1379f4177590d08dd6192d808%7C4e8d09f7cc794ccb9149a4238dd17422%7C0%7C0%7C638774005538362969%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=b22KrEnX6YMsuK413kIRqitsdpm4ajGVH3fybHR85S4%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">14 February 2025<\/a>). Later this year we have an opinion piece coming out in this journal arguing for the importance of emotional labour (a concept famously associated with Sociologist Arlie Russell Hochschild). We were also thrilled to share our project findings with members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/radicalrest.substack.com\/\">Radical Rest Network<\/a> on 5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project set up a range of questions that we think need attention. One of these is to identify what the \u2018feeling rules\u2019 of museum work are. To help us start considering this question, we are currently co-writing a Journal article exploring in more detail how Hochschild\u2019s concept can be applied to museums.
